Air Fryer Hasselback Sweet Potatoes

These are a crispy celebration of the natural sweetness and creamy texture of North Carolina Sweetpotatoes. Thinly sliced and air-fried until the edges are crisp and caramelized, these potatoes are a perfect side dish that brings a gourmet touch to your table with super minimal effort.

Ingredients

4 large	sweetpotatoes
4 tbsp	olive oil
1 tsp	Italian herbs
1 tsp	garlic powder
½ tsp	salt
¼ tsp	black pepepr

Step 1
Preheat the air fryer to 180°C.
Step 2
Cut the sweetpotatoes into 3-5 mm thick fan-like slices leaving some space along the flat edge at the bottom. Then, in a mixing bowl, mix all remaining ingredients.
Step 3
Cook the sweetpotatoes for 5 minutes.
Step 4
Open the air fryer and apply the seasoning mixture with a brush in-between the slices and on the top of the sweetpotatoes.
Step 5
Cook in the air fryer for an additional 20 minutes and serve.
