Acai Bowl with California Prunes

Love acai bowls, but want to give it a special twist? Equally purple and naturally sweet California Prunes make the perfect addition to your creamy acai bowl blend.

Featuring California Prunes

Ingredients

1frozen banana
1 cup acai puree (or your choice of frozen fruit)
a handful of raspberries
coconut shreds
5prunes
1-2 tbspcashew nuts
pineapple slices
mint leaves
2prunes cut into strips
1 tbspgoji berries

  1. Step 1

    Pour boiling water over prunes and set aside for 5 minutes.

  2. Step 2

    Put frozen banana, hot prunes and acai puree into the blender and blend well.

  3. Step 3

    Pour smoothie into a bowl.

  4. Step 4

    Place slices of pineapple, coconut shreds, prunes, raspberries, cashew, goji berries, and mint leaves on top of the smoothie.

  5. Step 5

    Serve immediately.
